Introducción: La obturación consiste en el relleno del conducto radicular en toda su extensión y de los espacios vacíos y ampliados durante la preparación. Materiales y Métodos: Se emplearon 20 piezas de un solo conducto con las coronas previamente seccionadas. Se trabajó con el sistema rotatorio Protaper Next hasta la lima X3, previa regularización de paredes dentinarias con Protaper Universal SX y se empleó como solución irrigante hipoclorito de sodio al 5.25%. Due to the complex radicular anatomy, there is a constant search for a three - dimensional seal - as tight as possible in the obturation - making possible the repair of the tissues. Since its discovery, gutta-percha remains as the ideal material for this purpose; because it has the particularity of adapting to the different thermal changes and its disadvantages do not diminish its qualities.
