In Portugal, the suicide in the Security Forces has reached values higher than those of the general population, which reflected a need to seek solutions. This study aimed to understand the problem of suicide in the Republican National Guard through the identification of causes and consequences, the understanding of the intervention carried out in this field, and the identification of the post-vention as a prevention axis. Using the qualitative approach, through interpretative phenomenological analysis, nine semi-structured interviews were conducted with military personnel of the Republican National Guard and external entities. As conclusions, there was a greater focus on strengthening the institutional response in terms of suicide prevention, especially in post-vention. However, there is a need to optimize resources for training and post-intervention.

Introducción: El anticuerpo IgA anti-transglutaminasa tisular 2 (tTG2) es un marcador relevante de la enfermedad celíaca. La utilidad de la determinación de IgA anti-tTG2 está bien establecida para el diagnóstico de la patología, sin embargo su uso para el seguimiento de pacientes con dieta libre de gluten (DLG) no se encuentra del todo esclarecido. Objetivo: Determinar los niveles de IgA anti-tTG2 en pacientes adultos paraguayos con enfermedad celíaca y su relación con la presencia y duración de la DLG. Camu-camu is an native species in domestication processes. Therefore, studies related to the root system are necessary to evaluate the best cultivation practices for an orchard. Two trials were conducted, one with nitrogen (N) and the other with potassium (K), at doses of 0, 40, 80, 160, and 320 kg·ha–1. Root distribution was determined using nondestructive analyses in which two-dimensional (2D) root images were obtained from trenches under the plants’ canopy. The aim of this study was to biomechanically analyze the skin of canine corpses chemically prepared with ethyl alcohol and curing salt, and vacuum packed, for the practice of veterinary surgery, in addition to obtaining the microbiological evaluation that may occur during the process. Eight canine corpses, weighing 7.96 ± 1.48 kg, were used. The animals were injected with 120 ml/kg of a solution of 20% sodium chloride, 1% nitrite and 1% sodium nitrate, and 150 ml/kg of alcohol with 5% glycerin and kept in vacuum-plastic bags at temperature between 0 and 4 °C.
