In this work it he appears in experimental form, the influence that produces the digestion anaerobia in the reduction of biodegradable organic matter of the municipal solid residuals (RSM) of Chimbote to laboratory scale. The experiment begins with the design and dimensionamiento of an experimental bioreactor "batch" of 4 L and a bioreactor of test of 20 L, of laboratory that they operated to 38% of its capacity. In the design they were analyzed and they evaluated the different parameters and contained variables in to the biodegradable organic material of the RSM. Then the organic material of the samples was selected, diluted to a concentration of 8% in weight of total solids to be treated in the bioreactors.
