The general objective of the present work was to demonstrate the effectiveness of the "Hygge" program to reduce the feeling of loneliness in elderly residents of the Centro de Atención Residencial Mixto del Adulto Mayor “San Pedro”(CARMAMSP), the program was applied to a final total sample of seven elderly adults over sixty years of age; chosen according to their level of consciousness, which was a necessary characteristic for being a work that required understanding psychoeducational aspects.
