Introduction: Community assets are resources present within a community that, through the integration of different sectors and the active participation of all members, promote a model focused on identifying and strengthening community opportunities and capacities. Objectives: To develop a map of community assets within the community served by the “19 de Abril” University Polyclinic that contribute to health generation. Methods: The study was based on methodologies validated in previous research for the development of health asset mapping. Discussion workshops were conducted to actively identify individuals and groups within the community engaged in activities that could generate health. Resumen:Objetivos: Identificar las percepciones de los adolecentes sobre, sexualidad, salud sexual y la manera de acceder a la información.Materiales y métodos:Se realizó una investigación descriptiva de corte cualitativa, de tipo participativa, con un enfoque preventivo dirigido a transformar el cuidado a la salud de los adolescentes.El contexto del estudio fue la secundaria urbana Hubert de Black, del municipio Plaza de la Revolución en la provincia La Habana. Se realizaron entrevista grupal con los adolecentes de la muestra seleccionada, para conocer sus percepciones sobre el tema que se aborda.Resultados: Durante la entrevista grupal, no se logró una expresión fluida de los adolescentes sobre el tema, los datos aportados fueron escasos.
