RESUMEN El Proyecto Waru waru II de CARE- PERU, con el fin de contribuir en la mejora del ingreso de las familias campesinas a nivel de su ámbito de trabajo, ha impulsado la promoción del crédito rural, el estudio se llevó a cabo en las cinco comunidades campesinas: tres comunidades de Cutini Capilla, Santiago de Thiri y Suacanta Kani del distrito de Juli de la provincia de Chucuito y dos comunidades Pucara y Accaso del distrito de Pilcuyo y provincia de El Collao en el año 2004.Los objetivos fueron: determinar el efecto del crédito rural en el ingreso familiar, analizar y evaluar los créditos colocados por CARE-PERU; El método usado fue descriptivo de tipo evaluativo de carácter Inductivo – Deductivo, bajo el enfoque micro económico tomando en cuenta la relación CAUSA-EFECTO. El estudio se centro en la caracterización molecular y de distancias genéticas en variedades nativas y sus parientes silvestres de quinua. Los objetivos fueron: a) Caracterizar por métodos moleculares las variedades nativas y sus parientes silvestres de quinua, utilizando el sistema AFLP, b) Determinar el parentesco y las distancias genéticas de tas variedades nativas y parientes silvestres de quinua, c) Identificar los parientes silvestres de la quinua en base a la caracterización molecular. El estudio se dividio en dos fases a) de recolección de muestras en el campo y b) de laboratorio, realizada en el Instituto de BiotecnologÃa de la Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina - Lima. Downy mildew is the most important disease that affects quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) in the Peruvian altiplano, it’s caused by pseudo fungi Peronospora variabilis Gäum. It causes yield reductions up to 99%. With the purpose of evaluating the effect of Trichoderma sp strains with endophytic capacity in the control of the mildew and improve quinoa yield var. Salcedo INIA, the seeds were fully covered (1x106 ufc. seed-1) and substrate was infested with spores of 10 Trichoderma strains to determine the percentage of endophytic colonization in quinoa plants at 30 and 60 days age under controlled conditions;four leaf applications (1x107 ufc.ml-1) and severity evaluations were also performed to determine the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC) and grain yield under field conditions.
