La epidemia de COVID-19 ha causado miles de muertes en todo el mundo. Se sabe que este virus produce una neumonía atípica que puede ser mortal. Existen pocos estudios sobre el examen patológico de tejidos de pacientes con COVID-19.Objetivo: Describir los hallazgos patológicos en tejidos de pacientes fallecidos con infección por COVID-19.Diseño: Se realizó un estudio de serie de casos con biopsias post mortem de pulmón, corazón e hígado de 18 pacientes con COVID-19 y se comparó los hallazgos con casos previamente reportados. Resultados: Los principales hallazgos respaldan el cuadro histológico de fases exudativas y proliferativas coexistentes, de daño alveolar difuso (DAD), y la presencia de cambios de tipo citopático en los pulmones. Histopathology shows transmural necrosis predominantly in the gastric fundus.

Bullous systemic lupus erythematosus (BSLE) is a vesiculobullous disease mediated by autoantibodies in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Tense vesicles and bullae are seen on an edematous, erythematous and sometimes normal skin in any body region, including mucous membranes and non-photoexposed areas. This is the case of a 16-year-old male patient with lupus nephritis who, on the seventh day of hospitalization, presented multiple serous and hemorrhagic blisters on the face, trunk, abdomen and upper extremities. The histological study showed a subepidermal bullousdermatosis with numerous neutrophils.
