La presente investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la funcionalidad familiar según el tipo de familia de los usuarios que acuden al Preventorio de Salud la Ensenada, Lima – 2019. Materiales y métodos: Es de enfoque cuantitativo descriptivo, de corte transversal, con una población de 100 usuarios. Se hizo el uso del cuestionario FACES IV. Resultados: Revelan que en la funcionalidad familiar, el 81% representa una funcionalidad regular y pertenece al tipo de familia nuclear en un 50% , en relación a la dimensión cohesión el 63% obtiene un nivel conectado y un 40% pertenece al tipo de familia nuclear, en cuanto a dimensión Flexibilidad el 59% obtiene un nivel flexible y un 39% pertenece al tipo de familia nuclear, con respecto a la funcionalidad familiar en la escala Comunicación, el 49% obtiene un nivel de comunicación alta y un 31% corresponde al tipo de familia nuclear...

Introduction: The Peruvian jungle is a geographical area with a high birth rate, and it has the highest proportion of teenage mothers; DHS revealed that only 28.4% of teenage women in the country have ever used contraception. Objective: To identify the perception of adolescent mothers regarding the use of contraceptive methods in communities annexed to the district of Masisea-Ucayali in 2018.
