Hyponatremia is the most common electrolyte imbalance in clinical practice; it is also the most under-diagnosed. Morbidity and mortality are significantly increased in patients with symptomatic hyponatremia in contrast to patients whose sodium concentration is normal. This article offers a review addressing epidemiology, diagnosis and therapeutic approach of hyponatremia.

En la presente investigación se tuvo como objetivo determinar si existe relación entre estrategias de afrontamiento y acoso sexual callejero en mujeres de una universidad privada de Chiclayo. La investigación utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental con un tipo de alcance de corte transversal. La muestra utilizada fueron un total de 339 estudiantes universitarias mujeres de la facultad de humanidades. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el Inventario de Estrategias de Afrontamiento – CSI y el test de Acoso sexual callejero – ASC. Para el análisis se utilizó el software SPSS v25. This study examined social support and sexual risk behavior in adolescents attending an educational institution in the municipality of Lebrija Santander. The sample involves 359 teenagers aged 12-18. This is a non-experimental descriptive-correlational study. Measures included a series of questionnaires, involving Risk Behavior Surveillance (YRBS), and the MOS Questionnaire Family APGAR. Results show that teens who started their sexual life, are at risk of sexual behaviors such as: non-condom use, alcohol consumption and the onset of sexual life at an early age. Also young people who have started their sexual life are those who perceive less emotional and instrumental support from their primary support network (family).
