The present investigation in the Maynas’ Provincial Municipality begins with certain deficiencies in the application of strategic planning in public management, for which the collaborators consider that due to these factors the institution is not meeting the goals. La presente investigación tiene como finalidad analizar el potencial turístico histórico que posee la ciudad de Iquitos, de tal manera que en nuestro informe se describe el propósito de investigación, enfatizando en la problemática prevista; asimismo, indica el por qué, para qué y para quién se desarrollará este estudio, considerando la importancia de ésta.
