Currently there are different techniques of soil improvement. One of them is the gravel columns that is one of the most popular and profitable techniques for soil improvement. This method of breeding increases the physical and mechanical properties of the soils. However, it has limitations, because part of the aggregates in non-specific areas can generate settlement that affects the structure. In this study, it reduces the settlement of the gravel column by making a change in a certain percentage in its structure by a concrete that is not reinforced. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo de enero 1996 a enero 1999, en 15 pacientes intervenidos por derivaciones biliodigestivas en sus variantes; colédoco duodenostomía y coledocoyeyunostomía, efectuados en el Hospital II EsSalud Huánuco. Son más frecuentes en el sexo femenino, 60%; la edad fluctúa desde los 28-78 años, con una media de 55 años. Los signos predominantes son ictericia en el 80%, y dolor abdominal 73%. Se evalúa el uso de la ecografía, en el diagnóstico intraoperatorio. Se encontró coledocolitiasis en el 86,6% siendo la causa más frecuente para derivaciones; en el 13.33% se encontró como diagnóstico un Ca de cabeza de páncreas y se efectuó coledocoyeyunostomía en Y de Roux.
