The objective of this paper was to analyze the impact of performance management in a government institution to improve school educational infrastructure during the period 2015-2022. The Programa Nacional de Infraestructura Educativa (PRONIED) is the institution tasked with ensuring the good management of public investment for the maintenance, replacement and improvement of school infrastructure throughout Peru, so its management should be reviewed based on the objectives and results of institutional performance indicators during the period of its operation. En esta investigación se obtiene la relación entre la gestión del desempeño de las actividades del organismo encargado de la inversión en infraestructura educativa y el proceso de la inversión pública que siguen las escuelas en el Perú desde el año 2016 hasta 2022. La metodología que se sigue es de naturaleza aplicada, su rango temporal de estudio señala un estudio longitudinal de diseño no experimental. Se obtiene información para investigar a través de una base de datos, con lo cual se deduce que es de enfoque cuantitativo.
