Objective: To determine quality of life in patients with chronic renal disease on haemodialysis at the Equilux Haemodialysis Centre. April to September 2016. Materials and Methods: Quantitative, transverse study of descriptive, observational type. Patients with a diagnosis of chronic renal disease on haemodialysis treated at the Equilux haemodialysis centre were included. METHODS: We interviewed 84 patients who met the selection criteria through simple random sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire of 36 questions that measure 8 dimensions that are grouped into two components, physical health and mental health. An unhealthy quality of life was estimated to be less than 50, and a healthy quality of life greater than or equal to 50 points.
