RESUMEN: Introducción: Los adultos mayores constituyen a los mayores de 65 años según la OMS. Así mismo, se han relacionado el riesgo sociofamiliar y deterioro cognitivo en pacientes del centro geriátrico de la fuerza aérea del Perú en el periodo 2017-2020. Objetivos del estudio: Determinar la asociación entre el riesgo sociofamiliar y el deterioro cognitivo en pacientes atendidos en el centro geriátrico del HFAP en el periodo 2017-2020. Metodología: Estudio primario, observacional, analítico, transversal, retrospectivo realizado en pacientes atendidos en el centro geriátrico del HFAP en el periodo 2017-2020. Introduction: Older adults constitute those over 65 according to the WHO. Likewise, sociofamily risk and cognitive impairment have been related in patients from the geriatric center of the Peruvian air force in the period 2017-2020. Objectives: To determine the association between socio-family risk and cognitive impairment in patients treated at the HFAP geriatric center in the period 2017-2020.
