Este artículo recoge una investigación universitaria en la cual se analiza la desaparición de los programas de opinión política en la televisión venezolana, a partir del estudio de las parrillas de programación de cuatro canales televisivos de referencia en el país: Venevisión, RCTV, Globovisión y Televen.Partiendo de tres puntos de inflexión para el sector, como fueron la entrada en vigencia de la Ley de Responsabilidad Social en Radio y Televisión (2005), el cese de la concesión para el canal RCTV (2007) y la venta de la estación Globovisión (2013), se observó una disminución del tiempo al aire de la opinión política en pantalla, así como la salida de figuras críticas de la conducción de espacios televisivos y la colocación de muchos espacios en horario no estelar.

In the first part, the article shows some of the conclusions that Habermas came to when studying the public sphere phenomenon in Europe. In that same context, it clearly shows the relationship between the ones that defend more economic and commercial freedoms and the press actions to defend those positions. Then, an exploration of some part of the Venezuelan history from 1830 to 1847 will take place, with the intention to help understand the mentioned relationship, it will be evaluated a printing press law from 1839.

This article provides context to the widespread crisis and human rights violations in Venezuela, which triggered an unprecedented and massive migration of Venezuelans. In Peru, having established the second-largest community of Venezuelan migrants, it is crucial to investigate the effective exercise of citizenship. The article reviews the legal and institutional framework that would allow the exercise of citizenship and, from a communicational perspective, studies characterizing Venezuelan migration in Peruvian media. The article also collects information from surveys conducted by the Peruvian government on Venezuelan migrants. Additionally, the research used the focal group technique to gather experiences and perspectives from Venezuelan journalists living in Peru that reveal limited citizenship.
