To identify characteristics of reproductive health in a group of teenagers pregnant. DESIGN: Transversal descriptive study. Materil AND METHODS: 400 edolescentes randomly chosen (13-18 years), gestation to term, without mental nor physical alterations, performing one interview previously validated. RESULTS: Mean age 17 ± 1.56 (13-18) years, menarche 13 ± 1.7 (8-18) years, first sexual intercourse 15 ± 1.34 years, with the father of the newborn (75.2%) 2.75% rape (11 cases). Reason for first intercourse: shared with partner (43.7%), then referring fear 18%, shame 14.7%, repentance 10% desire. 87% reported sexual partners, 13% from 2 to 5. 54.5% had no prior information about sexuality, only 6% knew their fertile period, 45% the process of fertility. 27% do not know any method of family planning: 78% know about AIDS and 20.7% ignore about other STDs. Sacha inchi oil is rich in essential and non-essential fatty acids and other types of bioactive agents like tocopherols and polyphenolic compounds, which are very well-known antioxidants. In this study, the encapsulation of sacha inchi oil in alginate (AL) and chitosan (CS) nanoparticles was achieved with the assistance of high-intensity ultrasound. Nanoemulsion is the most effective delivery and high stability system for lipophilic bioactive agents. Chitosan and surfactant concentrations were varied to study their effect on particle formulations. Size, zeta-potential, polydispersity, and stability of particles were determined in time to optimize the preparation conditions. The first weather radar campaign over Lima, the capital of Peru, a desertic area on the western side of the Peruvian Andes, was carried out to study the occurrence of rain events in summer 2018. The weather radar was installed strategically and was able to overlook three river basins: Rimac, Chillón, and Lurin. An X-band radar (PX-1000) was used, which operates at 9.55 GHz. PX-1000 was built by the Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC) at the University of Oklahoma (U.S.A.). The radar operated from January 26th to April 1st, 2018, at Cerro Suche located 2910 m ASL and 55 km from the city of Lima. The PX-1000 performed plan-position-indicators (PPI) for elevations starting at 0° up to 20°. The data presented here were obtained using a three-dimensional constant-altitude plan-position-indicator (3D CAPPI), which was generated by high resolution (250 m) nearest point algorithm. © 2021
