In the present research work was carried out in the neighborhood council of Las Lomas de Trujillo, in June 2014, with the aim of determining the concentration of total protein and albumin in adult volunteers of both sexes. A total of 90 blood plasma samples of adults of both sexes were processed using the colorimetric method of Wiener. In the case of total protein 90% of the study population presented normal levels, of which 71% were female and 29% male; 10% of the population had decreased levels with 6% for women and 4% for males. In the case of 4% albumin were elevated, decreased by 2% and 93% levels in the normal range.
