Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados al retiro anticipado de los implantes subdérmicos en mujeres atendidas en el Hospital Regional de Ica, 2019. Material y método: Estudio de tipo básico y de nivel descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal, la muestra fue de 92 usuarias que se retiraron el implante anticipadamente en el Hospital Regional de Ica, para recopilar información se elaboró una ficha de recolección de datos la cual consta de cuatro bloques (características sociodemográficas, factores obstétricos, efectos colaterales y tiempo de retiro), lo que permite recabar la información necesaria para el desarrollo de este estudio.
