Para la valoración la terapia aplicada mediante el DAS-28 en pacientes con diagnóstico de Artritis Reumatoide según la actividad de la enfermedad, atendidos en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo entre Junio del 2010 al Junio del 2012, fueron analizados 170 pacientes. Se aplicó un DAS-28 inicial y DAS-28 control (post-tratamiento), cuyos datos fueron procesados y analizados mediante la prueba estadística de McNemar – Browker y t student. Durante la primera evaluación de los 170 pacientes, el 28.82% presentaron actividad leve, el 51.18% moderada y un 20% fue alta. A estos pacientes se les realizó una nueva evaluación a través del DAS-28 a los 6 meses para recategorizarlo, encontrándose un 32.35% con actividad leve; 55.88% con actividad moderada y el 11.77% con actividad alta.
