The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of the Iquitos Nauta highway on the diversity and vertical distribution of amphibians and reptiles within the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve km 28; during the months of September and October 2019. The Crump methodology was applied, recording through visual encounters and linear transects of 200 m in length, the records were obtained from six sectors located at 0, 200, 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 m. from the road inwards. 34 species of amphibians were recorded, distributed in 9 families, with Hylidae being the one with the greatest richness and the species Osteocephalus deridens being the most abundant with 0.67 ind/man-hour. In reptiles, 22 species were recorded distributed in 9 families, Dactyloidae, Colubridae and Gymnophtalmidae were the ones with the greatest richness above 500 m.
