Se presenta el caso de dos paciente varones, de 74 años heterosexual y 29 años homosexual, ambos portadores del virus de inmunodeficiencia adquirida (VIH) en estadio C3, con sarcoma de Kaposi de piel, cavidad oral y compromiso extenso del tubo digestivo. En el primer caso se encontró lesiones de esófago, estómago y duodeno; y, en el segundo, hubo además lesiones similares en toda la extensión del colon más neurocriptocococis y estrongiloidiasis. Luego de tratamiento, ambos tuvieron una evolución adecuada.

t is showed the case of two male patients, 74 year-old heterosexual and 29 year-old homosexual, both carriers of the virus of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in stage C3, with Kaposi's sarcoma of skin, oral cavity and extensive involvement of the digestive tract. In the first case, it was found lesions of esophagus, stomach and duodenum; and, in the second case, besides similar lesions in the entire length of the colon were found plus neurocriptococcocis and strongyloidiasis. After treatment, both patients had an adequate evolution.

This is the case of an elderly patient with a 40-year history of stomach ulcer, whose relatives perceived behavioral changes for the last two months. Those changes progressively included disorientation, psychomotor agitation, negativism and delirium of persecution, which caused him to be brought to the emergency room. He also showed marked pallor and multiple ecchymosis, due to which he was hospitalized in our service and diagnosed with reversible dementia caused by pernicious anemia. Pancytopenia and neurological changes were also found. The patient responded favorably to the administration of vitamin B12.
