The objective was to evaluate visitors' perception of the landscape and environmental conditions of the Tarapacá Waterfront in Iquitos, an urban-riverine public space of historical and cultural importance. A cross-sectional descriptive design with a quantitative approach was used, applying a validated structured questionnaire (α=0.893) to 386 visitors selected through systematic probabilistic sampling. The instrument evaluated four dimensions: Aesthetics and Biodiversity, Safety and Lighting, Infrastructure and Heritage, and Cleanliness and Sustainability. Results revealed a predominantly negative perception, with critical means in all dimensions: Cleanliness and Sustainability (2.44), Aesthetics and Biodiversity (2.59), Safety and Lighting (2.66) and Infrastructure and Heritage (2.69), all below the neutral value of 3.0.
