The contamination of drinking water for arsenic is a threat for health, because the OMS considered that element like carcinogen. Different countries such as Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, Taiwan and Peru have natural factors and anthropogenic factors as sources of water contamination. The objective of this study was detected the levels of Arsenic in the province of Arequipa, using a voltamperometric method for its quantification in eight different sources.
