description Actualmente en el contexto del mundo globalizado, de realiza con mayor fluidez el intercambio de bienes y servicios. La creciente demanda de productos acuáticos en el mundo saludables y de calidad es alta, lo que beneficia a los países con recursos para la obtención de estos productos, y opten por su exportación. La presente tesis tiene como objetivo determinar la ventaja comparativa revelada de la exportación de langostinos enteros frescos de los principales países exportadores al mercado del Corea del Sur 2015-2021. La metodología empleada en esta tesis tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de corte longitudinal y de carácter descriptivo. En primer lugar, se obtuvo información estadística de plataforma de comercio internacional denominada Trade Map. Seguidamente, para el análisis y presentación de resultados, se aplicó la fórmula de la ventaja comparativa revelada de Bela Balassa. Los resultados nos muestran la ventaja comparativa revelada de los países estudiados que exportan langostino a Corea del Sur en el periodo 2015 al 2021, dio como resultado promedio (estimando todos los años indicados en el estudio): Para Vietnam, un índice de VCRE de 1.59; para Perú, un índice de VCRE de 1.31; para Ecuador, un índice de VCR de 2.98 y por último en China un índice de VCRE de 1.05. Por ello, todos los países estudiados en esta investigación poseen ventaja comparativa revelada para la exportación de langostinos a Corea del Sur.

The growing demand for healthy and quality aquatic products in the world is high, which benefits countries with resources to obtain these products, and they choose to export them. The objective of this thesis is to determine the revealed comparative advantage of the export of fresh whole prawns from the main exporting countries to the South Korean market 2015-2021. The methodology used in this thesis had a quantitative, longitudinal and descriptive approach. Firstly, statistical information was obtained from the international trade platform called Trade Map. Next, for the analysis and presentation of results, Bela Balassa's revealed comparative advantage formula was applied. The results show us the revealed comparative advantage of the studied countries that export shrimp to South Korea in the period 2015 to 2021, giving an average result (estimating all the years indicated in the study): For Vietnam, a VCRE index of 1.59 ; for Peru, a VCRE index of 1.31; for Ecuador, a VCR index of 2.98 and finally in China a VCRE index of 1.05.
