description En la presente investigación, se determinó cómo es la infraestructura turística que presenta el hotel “El Gran Marqués” para el turismo accesible en la ciudad de Trujillo, 2019. El tipo de investigación fue cualitativa – descriptiva, se diseñaron y aplicaron fichas de observación utilizando las recomendaciones básicas de infraestructura y servicios requeridos según estándares internacionales para establecimientos de hospedaje del estudio realizado por Promperú “Turismo para personas con discapacidad: Un segmento en desarrollo”. Por otro lado, el autor encontró que las empresas de turismo tales como hoteles, restaurantes y agencias de viajes se ven en la necesidad y el deber de adecuar su infraestructura turística de tal manera que una persona con discapacidad psicomotriz pueda desplazarse adecuadamente sin exponer al peligro su integridad física. Asimismo, es necesario capacitar a los miembros de equipo para que puedan ofrecer un servicio adecuado a las personas con discapacidad psíquica, visual o auditiva. Al concluir el estudio se puede afirmar que el hotel cumple con el 39.56% de los estándares internacionales según las fichas de observación que fueron aplicadas.
