Debido a ello, el objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar el diseño estructural de un edificio educativo, mediante la metodología Building Information Modeling (BIM), en la ciudad de Trujillo, 2022. Dicho trabajo según el propósito, es de tipo aplicada y según el diseño es no experimental. Como resultados, se obtuvo el modelamiento y diseño estructural de un centro educativo, con su respectivo análisis sísmico, donde se comprobaron las derivas máximas de acuerdo al Reglamento Nacional de Edificaciones, además se desarrolló una guía de modelamiento. Finalmente, se concluye que BIM es una metodología con gran proyección en el Perú y que brindará grandes beneficios en el flujo de trabajo que se necesita en los proyectos de construcción civil.
