Se utiliza un enfoque mixto a fin de determinar las variables claves que resultan más motrices y dependientes; esto se realiza con ayuda de un grupo de expertos en la temática. Los resultados indican que las variables clave para el sistema son: (1) el aprendizaje a partir de la realidad local a lo global, (2) la promoción de acciones sostenibles, y (3) las acciones solidarias y de emprendimiento de los docentes en la comunidad para el desarrollo sostenible. El actor más influyente en el sistema es el Ministerio de Educación del Perú, pues es el responsable de conducirlo hacia una EA de mayor calidad para la niñez temprana futura.The objective of this study is to identify and describe the variables which conform the early childhood Environmental Education (EE) system in Peru, as well as the main actors involved. We used a mixed method research approach to determine the key variables in the system. This analysis is supported by several expert opinions. Our results show that the key variables are: 1) the transition from local to global learning, 2) the promotion of sustainable actions, and 3) the influence of teachers in their communities through solidarity and entrepreneurship.
