description El proyecto arquitectónico que se propone es un edificio de Educación Superior dedicado a las Artes Escénicas en el distrito de Comas al no contar con este equipamiento educativo adecuado en Lima Norte y la gran actividad cultural que se percibe en esta zona, además el edificio estaría estratégicamente ubicado para conectar con el resto de la ciudad. Los criterios que se tomaron en cuenta para la ubicación del terreno fueron principalmente: la accesibilidad e inclusión a un polo educativo. Escogiendo el terreno, se aprovechó el contexto urbano renovando y reavivando la zona que posee una gran característica de teatro callejero en Comas. La propuesta de esta infraestructura educativa cultural tiene sustento de una investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa de referentes locales e internacionales, así como un estudio de usuario, lugar, evolución histórica y normativa para los ambientes requeridos dentro del proyecto. Teniendo en cuenta los criterios debidos, se estaría satisfaciendo la demanda existente y potenciando el fenómeno urbano del desarrollo del Teatro Callejero y la fuerza de la Cultura Viva que se practica en Comas, capital Cultural de Lima Norte. Esto se refleja en el planteamiento arquitectónico del proyecto, desde la entrada hasta la ubicación de los espacios comunes, patios y terrazas interiores recreativas ambientes de estudio y práctica para sus alumnos. De esta manera, se estaría dando valor a una actividad cultural educativa importante muy descuidada actualmente.

It is known there aren’t adequate educational equipment in the North of Lima, also there’s a great cultural activity which is perceived in this area. In adition, the building would be strategically located to connect with the rest of the city. To localize the land for the project there was an evaluation criteria that were mainly: accessibility and inclusion to an educational area. When the land was chosen, the urban context was improved. In this way, the area that has a great feature of street theater in Comas would be renewed. The proposal of this cultural educational infrastructure is supported by a quantitative and qualitative research of local and international references, as well as a study of users, place, historical and normative for the spaces required within the project. Proper criterias were taken into account, the existing demand would be satisfied and the urban phenomenon of the development of the Street Theater and the strength of the Living Culture that is practiced in Comas would be promoted. This is reflected in the architectural approach of the project, from the entrance to the location of the common spaces, exclusive recreational spaces, interior terraces for students, and the privacy of their theoric and practice rooms.
