Si bien el puntaje promedio fue más alto con respecto a la prueba realizada en el año 2015, estos resultados se encuentran muy por debajo de otros países. En este sentido, mediante el uso de Juegos Serios y Gamificación se pueden crear juegos educativos que contribuyan al aprendizaje de los usuarios mientras estos se entretienen. Asimismo, el gran aumento de los dispositivos móviles en el mercado se ve reflejado en que el 95% de los jóvenes entre 12 y 17 años cuentan con estos dispositivos, lo que permite plantear soluciones que aprovechen esta ventaja. De este modo, el presente trabajo consiste en el diseño e implementación de un juego serio, basado en técnicas de gamificación, para dispositivos móviles Android, que permita a estudiantes de quinto año de secundaria mejorar en sus habilidades matemáticas a través de la resolución de ejercicios o problemas matemáticos.
