Industrial Nuevo Mundo S.A. en este cargo se logró identificar oportunidades de mejora para el incremento de la producción, así como también mantener el orden y la limpieza turno a turno en la planta. Se determinó aplicar herramientas de lean manufacturing como la implementación de la metodología de las 5s, para lograr mantener el orden y limpieza en todos los turnos en las áreas del pre tejido denim, una vez aplicada la 5s se dio paso a la aplicación del SMED para los cambios de partida en ambos trenes denim, donde se logró cambiar actividades internas a externas para reducir el tiempo en el cambio de partida, así como también se encontraron oportunidades de mejora con las ideas y participación de los operarios. Finalmente se establecieron los controles para tener en cuenta para obtener el indicador de OEE que mide la eficiencia global de los equipos en nuestro caso la eficiencia en los trenes denim, como resultado se logró un incremento en el indicador OEE para el tren master de 63% paso a 74% y para el tren sucker de 56% paso a 71%.

Industrial Nuevo Mundo S.A. In this position, I was able to identify improvement opportunities to increase production as well as maintain order and cleanliness shift by shift in the plant. It was determined to apply lean manufacturing tools such as the implementation of the 5s methodology, to maintain order and cleanliness in all shifts in the denim pre-woven areas, once the 5s was applied, the SMED was applied for batch changes in both denim trains, where it was possible to change internal activities to external ones to reduce the time in batch changes, as well as opportunities for improvement were found with the ideas and participation of the operators. Finally, the controls to be taken into account were established to obtain the OEE indicator that measures the overall efficiency of the equipment, in our case the efficiency in the denim trains.
