Por ello, este estudio tiene como objetivo general es comprender la percepción sobre la influencia de la enseñanza musical en el desarrollo cognitivo del niño a partir de las perspectivas de docentes y estudiantes involucrados en el taller de música. La investigación corresponde a un enfoque cualitativo de tipo fenomenológico, el cual busca comprender en profundidad las experiencias y percepciones de los participantes en relación con la enseñanza musical y su impacto cognitivo, mediante un análisis de nivel descriptivo, donde se proporcionará una detallada comprensión de las opiniones individuales en torno a este fenómeno. La recolección de datos se obtuvo a través de una entrevista, con una muestra conformada por 6 estudiantes del nivel primaria y 2 profesores especialistas del área de música, ambos pertenecientes a una institución educativa privada de la ciudad de Lima. Los resultados señalaron impactos positivos de la enseñanza musical en el procesamiento cognitivo, memoria, atención, habilidades emocionales y sociales, respaldando el objetivo específico del estudio.

Therefore, the general objective of this study is to understand the perception of the influence of music teaching on the cognitive development of children from the perspectives of teachers and students involved in the music workshop. The research adopts a qualitative phenomenological approach, seeking to comprehensively understand the experiences and perceptions of participants regarding music education and its cognitive impact. Through a descriptive analysis, a detailed understanding of individual opinions on this phenomenon will be provided. Data collection was conducted through interviews, with a sample comprising 6 primary school students and 2 music specialist teachers, all belonging to a private educational institution in the city of Lima.
