description El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre las habilidades sociales con el coeficiente intelectual de los estudiantes del colegio secundario Agro Industrial 2019. Su hipótesis pretendió demostrar que existe una relación significativa entre las habilidades sociales con el coeficiente intelectual de los estudiantes del colegio secundario Agro Industrial, 2019. Para lo cual se llevó a cabo bajo el enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo correlacional, diseño cuasi experimental, con una muestra probabilística de (221) estudiantes. Con respecto a las técnicas de recolección de datos utilizados fue una encuesta con su respectivo instrumento de cuestionario, asimismo fue validado mediante la técnica juicio de expertos. Para la correlación de las variables se utilizó el estadístico no paramétrico Rho de Spearman. Los resultados de acuerdo a las habilidades sociales se perciben que el 34,4% (76) tuvo un nivel bajo y solo el 3,6% (8) de los estudiantes tuvieron un nivel muy alto en relación a las habilidades sociales, según el coeficiente intelectual se percibe que el 81,4·% (180) de los estudiantes tuvo un coeficiente intelectual normal promedio y el 7,7% (17) estudiantes indicaron tener un coeficiente intelectual superior. En conclusión: existe una relación entre estos resultados y nos indican que, a mayor nivel de habilidades sociales, el coeficiente intelectual para los estudiantes fue el mejor.
