Estas zonas alcanzaron el 78% de los casos nuevos informados en el país. Lima registró más casos de tuberculosis en el país alzanzando el 57%. La mayor proporción de pacientes se encuentran en la provincia metropolitana de Lima, y en los distritos de Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho, Ate, San Juan de Miraflores y Villa María del Triunfo. Los casos de tuberculosis notificados en el 2019 fue principalmente pulmonar, con el 81%.
