description El presente informe de investigación titulado “Prototipo de seguridad y control de asistencia por RFID para estudiantes de la I.E.P. Cima de Chiclayo”, tuvo como objetivo principal diseñar un Prototipo de seguridad y control de asistencia mediante RFID y base de datos, que cuente con una batería auxiliar de larga duración eficiente para el control de asistencias en la Institución Educativa. La metodología del estudio fue de tipo aplicada y diseño experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 305 estudiantes quienes serán los beneficiados con el uso del prototipo de seguridad y control de asistencia. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la entrevista y la encuesta. Se realizaron visitas a la Institución Educativa con el fin de conocer la situación en la que se encontraba el registro de asistencia de los estudiantes, lo cual necesitó de apoyo para tener un alto control de seguridad y asistencia. Por tal razón, se diseñó el sistema de prototipo de seguridad y control de asistencia, el cual tuvo repetidas pruebas y funcionó de manera eficiente, permitiendo el registro de asistencia de la cantidad de alumnos mencionados en la muestra, quienes deben pasan por el lector del RFID.
