description El proyecto tiene como objetivo principal el desarrollo de un complejo cultural en la conurbación Cajamarca – Baños del Inca, para reducir la brecha de servicios artístico – culturales demandadas por la población de ambos distritos que fue analizada en un amplio diagnostico situacional, tomando en cuenta una población de 296 001 habitantes en esta parte del país, lo que representa un 74.9% del total de la región Cajamarca. El estudio ha permitido conocer el déficit de atenciones y el estado actual de la infraestructura donde se brindan los principales servicios culturales de la conurbación como las bibliotecarias, artístico - educativas, expositivas y auditivas, por parte de las entidades públicas responsables de dar valor al patrimonio cajamarquino, representado por su legado histórico y vivo. La propuesta atiende dicha problemática, pretendiendo establecer un equipamiento de centralidad, que se convierta en un hito arquitectónico y piedra angular de una futura red de agentes culturales de la conurbación Cajamarca – Baños del Inca, proponiendo para esto una ubicación equidistante que permita facilidad de acceso. El concepto pretende relacionar, a través de espacios públicos y áreas verdes, a los habitantes de ambos distritos, de esta manera el complejo cultural se convierte en un espacio de reunión, de intercambio de conocimientos, constituyendo una especie de ágora alrededor del cual se reúnen una serie de equipamientos cívicos y culturales con prestaciones básicas para el desarrollo de las artes y la cultura cajamarquina.

The study has revealed the attention deficit and the current state of the infrastructure where the main cultural services of the conurbation are provided, such as libraries, artistic - educational, exhibition and hearing services, by the public entities responsible for giving value to heritage of Cajamarca, represented by its historical and living legacy. The proposal addresses this problem, seeking to establish a central equipment, which becomes an architectural landmark and important part of a future network of cultural agents in the Cajamarca - Baños del Inca conurbation, proposing for this an equidistant location that allows easy access.
