La población estuvo conformada por 4600 mujeres de 30 a 45 años que fueron atendidas en el Hospital Victor Lazarte Echegaray y que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La investigación nos muestra en los resultados que las mujeres entre 30 a 45 años de edad que acuden al Hospital Victor Lazarte Echegaray del distrito de Trujillo posee un conocimiento bueno (60.12%) sobre la etapa de la menopausia, con respecto al nivel de conocimiento sobre hormonoterapia, presentan un resultado malo en un 75.07%. Esta investigación también da a conocer que dichas mujeres aceptan la hormonoterapia en un 29.91%.

The population consisted of 200 women aged 30 to 45 who were treated at the Hospital and Victor Lazarte Echegaray who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research shows the results that women aged 30 to 45 years of age who come to the Hospital Victor Lazarte Echegaray district of Trujillo has a good knowledge (60.12%) on the stage of menopause, regarding the level of knowledge about hormonal therapy, have a bad result by 75.07%.
