Eguiguren – Avenida Country y Avenida Sullana- Avenida Country en Piura con un enfoque particular en la congestión, la señalización y la infraestructura vial. A través de un análisis exhaustivo, se identifican las deficiencias en la señalización vertical y horizontal, así como en los tiempos semafóricos, que contribuyen a la ineficiencia del tránsito en la zona. Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tráfico que permitió determinar los flujos vehiculares durante la hora de máxima demanda, proporcionando una base sólida para el análisis del nivel de servicio y la capacidad vehicular y peatonal actual. Este estudio reveló que las intersecciones presentes en la Avenida Country operan por debajo de los estándares óptimos, lo que genera congestiones significativas y afecta la seguridad de los usuarios. Con el objetivo de optimizar el desempeño estructural y funcional de la Avenida Country, se desarrolló un diseño integral de pavimento flexible y rígido, adaptado a las condiciones específicas del tráfico. Este diseño busca no solo mejorar la durabilidad de la infraestructura, sino también facilitar un tránsito más fluido y seguro para todos los usuarios. En conclusión, los resultados de esta investigación proporcionan un marco de referencia que permitirá implementar medidas efectivas para mejorar la movilidad y la seguridad en la Avenida Country, contribuyendo al desarrollo sostenible de la ciudad de Piura

Eguiguren Avenue - Country Avenue and Sullana Avenue - Country Avenue in Piura with a particular focus on congestion, signaling and road infrastructure. Through an exhaustive analysis, deficiencies in vertical and horizontal signaling, as well as traffic light timing, are identified, which contribute to the inefficiency of traffic in the area. A traffic study was carried out to determine vehicular flows during peak demand hours, providing a solid basis for the analysis of the level of service and current vehicular and pedestrian capacity. This study revealed that the intersections present on Country Avenue operate below optimal standards, which generates significant congestion and affects the safety of users. With the objective of optimizing the structural and functional performance of Country Avenue, a comprehensive flexible and rigid pavement design was developed, adapted to specific traffic conditions. This design seeks not only to improve the durability of the infrastructure, but also to facilitate smoother and safer transit for all users.
