Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento sobre la salud bucal en Trabajadores del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario en tiempos de COVID-19, Trujillo 2021, fue deficiente con un nivel regular al 72%. Según la edad, el grupo que predominó fue de 20 a 34 años de edad con un 51%. Hubo un predominio del sexo masculino con un deficiente nivel de conocimiento con un 79%. Conclusiones: El nivel de conocimiento sobre la salud bucal en los trabajadores del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario en tiempos de COVID-19 Trujillo 2021, fue un deficiente nivel de conocimiento en cuanto a su salud bucal y su correspondiente cuidado, siendo que más de la mitad de la población estudia tiene dudas al momento del cuidado bucal.

A previously used and validated virtual questionnaire was used, a level of reliability was obtained through a pilot study. Results: The level of knowledge about oral health in Workers of the National Penitentiary Institute in times of COVID-19, Trujillo 2021, was deficient with a regular level of 72%. According to age, the group that predominated was between 20 and 34 years of age with 51%. There was a predominance of males with a poor level of knowledge with 79%.
