Se realizó un censo muestral, obteniendo un total de 85 pacientes con carcinoma gástrico resecable que cumplieron con los criterios de selección. Se empleó el método de Kaplan-Meier para determinar la sobrevida actuarial y se empleó el test de Log-Rank para comparar las curvas de supervivencia. El análisis multivariado se realizó mediante Regresión de Cox para calcular el Hazard Ratio (HR). Resultados: Los pacientes que presentaron INL elevado tuvieron una menor sobrevida a cinco años a comparación de los pacientes que presentaron INL normal (49,3% frente a 70,5%, p = 0.01). Los pacientes que presentaron hipoalbuminemia tuvieron una menor sobrevida a cinco años a comparación de los pacientes que presentaron albúmina normal (40,4% frente a 75,5%, p = 0.01). El análisis multivariado también mostró asociación significativa entre los niveles de INL y sobrevida (HR= 2,34; IC 95% = 1,08 – 5,08; p = 0,03); ocurrió lo mismo con la albúmina (HR= 2,33; IC 95% = 1,06 – 5,11; p = 0,04). Conclusiones: Los niveles de INL y albúmina están asociados de manera significativa con la sobrevida actuarial a cinco años en pacientes con carcinoma gástrico resecable

Materials and methods: The study is an observational, longitudinal analytical actuarial survival analysis. A sample census was carried out, obtaining a total of 85 patients with resectable gastric carcinoma who met the selection criteria. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to determine actuarial survival and the Log-Rank test was used to compare the survival curves. Multivariate analysis was performed using Cox Regression to determine the Hazard Ratio (HR). Results: Patients who had a high NLR had a lower five-year survival compared to patients who had a normal NLR (49.3% vs. 70.5%, p = 0.01). Patients who presented hypoalbuminemia had a lower five-year survival compared to patients who presented normal albumin (40.4% vs. 75.5%, p = 0.01). The multivariate analysis also showed a significant association between NLR levels and survival (HR= 2.34; 95% CI = 1.08 – 5.08; p = 0.03); the same occurred with albumin (HR= 2.33; 95% CI = 1.06 – 5.11; p = 0.04).
