La neuropatía diabética periférica se conceptualiza como el daño nervioso periférico, esencialmente en el aspecto sensorial, que se encuentra inicialmente en la zona distal de las extremidades inferiores aplicable a la Diabetes mellitus y se presenta en 2 de cada 3 pacientes con diabetes, siendo este el principal aspecto de peligro para pie diabético; de allí el propósito de la investigación, la cual tiene como objetivo general: Analizar si la diabetes mellitus tipo 2 no controlada es un factor asociado a la Neuropatía Periférica en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital de Belén de Trujillo 2018. El tipo de investigación que se utilizó fue cuantitativo, de diseño casos y controles. Finalmente se tomó en cuenta el instrumento MNSI, el cual es un test que en el año 2006 fue validado por Moghtaderi A, Bakhshipour A, Rashidi H, en su investigación denominado Validation of Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument dor diabetic peripheral neuropathy. |
