description El presente trabajo de investigación de enfoca a la identificación de emplazamientos con fluctuación de señal TV 40 UHF, en la ciudad de Trujillo mediante un análisis de la señal recibida en función de la refractividad superficial (Ns). Para ello se seleccionaron 100 emplazamientos representativos de puntos exteriores de recepción de televisión en la ciudad, estimándose para cada uno de estos puntos, el nivel de recepción de señal al variar la refractividad superficial en los rangos 250 Nunits < Ns < 400 Nunits. Conforme a los valores típicos de temperatura ambiental, presión atmosférica y humedad de la ciudad de Trujillo, se sinceró un rango entre 300 Nunits < Ns < 400 Nunits, bajo los cuales se logró identificar fluctuación de señal en 14 puntos de la ciudad. Los valores más altos de refractividad superficial se obtuvieron con los valores más altos de humedad y temperatura, y; bajo estas condiciones se identificaron cinco emplazamientos con aumento de la señal sobre su promedio, asimismo nueve emplazamientos con reducción de señal recibida sobre su promedio

To do this, 100 representative locations of external television reception points in the city were selected, estimating for each of these points, the signal reception level by varying the surface refractivity in the ranges 250 Nunits <Ns <400 Nunits. In accordance with the typical values of environmental temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity of the city of Trujillo, a range was established between 300 Nunits <Ns <400 Nunits, under which it was possible to identify signal fluctuation in 14 points of the city.
