La crisis de pandemia que atravesamos de manera global, deslumbró las falencias de cada sistema de salud, sector desatendido por décadas, tuvo que lidiar con las consecuencias. Actualmente contamos con carencias cuantitativas y cualitativas en la atención pública, existiendo una brecha enorme en dicho sector; teniendo más del 50% de instalación de estos servicios con deficiencias. A nivel regional no se cuenta con una infraestructura especializada que abastezca el sector infantil, siendo este entre el 5% al 10 % de toda la atención, está siendo atendida por Hospitales de menor categoría o derivadas a los establecimientos ubicados en la ciudad de Lima. Por otro lado, a nivel nacional y regional se mantiene un índice alto de muertes en etapa infantil en comparación con estándares de países aledaños y más distantes aun de países europeos. La finalidad de la presente investigación es diseñar un Instituto especializado en la salud del Niño y la humanización de los espacios que lo conforman de tal modo que promuevan la sanación, en una región desabastecida por servicios especializados como lo es La Libertad. Para lograr el objetivo de la tesis, se debió utilizar como referencia proyectos, reglamentos, normativa internacional, nacional y estudios epidemiológicos en salud. |

Currently we have quantitative and qualitative deficiencies in public care, with an enormous gap existing in said sector; having more than 50% of installation of these services with deficiencies. At the regional level there is no specialized infrastructure that supplies the children's sector, this being between 5% to 10% of all care, it is being served by lower category Hospitals or referred to establishments located in the city of Lima. On the other hand, at the national and regional level there is a high rate of deaths in childhood compared to standards in neighboring countries and even more distant from European countries. The purpose of this research is to design an Institute specialized in Children's health and the humanization of the spaces that comprise it in such a way that they promote healing, in a region underserved by specialized services such as La Libertad.
