Se incluyeron ensayos clínicos, los cuales fueron filtrados y almacenados mediante el uso de la plataforma Rayyan. La recolección de datos se efectuó utilizando Microsoft Excel 2019. Se evaluó el riesgo de sesgo a través de la herramienta RoB 2.0 de la Colaboración Cochrane. Para el meta análisis, a través del Software RevMan web de Cochrane se hizo el análisis estadístico. La calidad y certeza de la evidencia fueron evaluadas utilizando el programa GRADEpro. Resultados: Para el meta análisis se evaluó 6 estudios distintos de 3 ensayos clínicos aleatorizados seleccionados. Tras 12 semanas de tratamiento, se observó una diferencia significativa a favor de la minociclina tópica en la reducción a puntajes 0-1 en la escala IGA (RR: 1.33 [1.15,1.53] , IC 95%, I2 :21%, Z= 3.91 (P < 0,0001)) y en la disminución del recuento de lesiones inflamatorias (RR: 1.68 [1.26,2.25] , IC 95%, I2 :23%, Z= 3.48 (P < 0,0005)) en comparación con el placebo. Conclusión: La minociclina tópica disminuyó significativamente el número de lesiones y el puntaje de Evaluación Global del Investigador (IGA) frente al placebo

Material and methods: The present study was governed by the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The search expression was carried out in various databases such as Pubmed, web of sciences, EMBASE, SCOPUS, Cochrane and Google academic. Clinical trials were included, which were filtered and stored using the Rayyan platform. Data collection was carried out using Microsoft Excel 2019. The risk of bias was assessed through the Cochrane Collaboration's RoB 2.0 tool. For the meta-analysis, the statistical analysis was performed using Cochrane's RevMan web software. The quality and certainty of the evidence were evaluated using the GRADEpro program Results: For the meta-analysis, 6 different studies from 3 selected randomized clinical trials were evaluated.
