description La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad el diseño geométrico, estuctural y drenaje pluvial de un pavimento para la trocha carrozable de la ruta Quilcha – Shingate del distrito Sartimbamba – La Libertad, 2023. El diseño de investigación empleado fue no experimental, transversal, descriptivo simple, en donde la muestra está definida por la trocha carrozable del tramo de Quilcha - Shingate desde Km 0+000 hasta Km 13+230, y al cual se aplicó la observación estructurada junto al empleo de guías de observación y fichas de registro para la recolección de datos que nos serán de utilidad para realizar los estudios previstos. Las principales conclusiones obtenidas fue la composición del tramo en estudio, la cual está conformado superficialmente de una capa de relleno, compuesto por suelo natural y desperdicios, predominando las arenas arcillosas con grava “SC” y arenas arcillosas con limo y grava “SC – SM” con un CBR promedio de 11.72%. Además, se realizó un conteo vehicular en donde, se observa que la transitabilidad vehicular es regular y el tipo de vehículos predominantes son camionetas Pick ups. Esto nos permitirá elaborar un diseño optimo del pavimento, permitiendo una mayor transitabilidad en la vía y mejorando la comunicación con la comunidad del centro poblado de Sartimbamba

The research design used was non experimental, transversal, simple descriptive, where the sample is defined by the motorized trail of the Quilcha - Shingate section from Km 0+000 to Km 13+230, and to which structured observation was applied along with the use of observation guides and record sheets for the collection of data that will be useful to us to carry out the planned studies. The main conclusions obtained were the composition of the section under study, which is superficially made up of a fill layer, composed of natural soil and waste, predominating clayey sands with gravel ""SC"" and clayey sands with silt and gravel ""SC - SM” with an average CBR of 11.72%. In addition, a vehicle count was carried out where it is observed that vehicular traffic is regular and the predominant type of vehicles are Pick-up trucks.
