Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento de los cuidados, higiene y mantenimiento en pacientes con prótesis dentales removibles, atendidos en el Centro Odontológico UPAO-2019 fue deficiente con un total de 126 (77.8%). El grupo etario que predominó fue de 35 a 59 años de edad con un total de 82 (55.6%). Hubo un predominio del sexo femenino con un total de 106 (65.4%) con un deficiente nivel de conocimiento con un total de 78 (73.6%). Conclusiones: El nivel de conocimiento de los cuidados, higiene y mantenimiento en pacientes portadores de prótesis dentales removibles, atendidos en el Centro Odontológico UPAO-2019, fue un deficiente nivel de conocimiento en cuanto los cuidados, higiene y mantenimiento de sus prótesis dentales removibles (parciales y totales).
