Con el objetivo de determinar el antecedente de aborto como factor de riesgo para parto pretérmino en gestantes atendidas en el hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2020 – 2023; se realizó una investigación analítica de casos y controles; en una muestra de 99 historias clínicas de gestantes con parto pretérmino, a quienes se le aplicó una ficha de recolección de datos. La frecuencia de antecedente de aborto en gestantes con parto pretérmino fue el 29.3%; De las 46 gestantes con antecedente de aborto, 29 presentaron parto pretérmino, lo que representa una frecuencia del 63.0 %. En cambio, de las 152 gestantes sin antecedentes de aborto, 70 presentaron parto pretérmino (46.1 %).; la frecuencia de parto pretérmino en gestantes hospitalizadas fueron 2364 es decir el 21.1%. Las características sociodemográficas de las gestantes hospitalizadas de parto pretérmino fueron: edad entre 20 a 34 años, son convivientes el 76.8%, el 72.7% son independientes y el 50.5% tienen secundaria. El antecedente de aborto asociado al parto pretérmino presenta un OR de 1.99 IC 95% (1.0140 3.9380) en gestantes atendidas en el hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2020 – 2023. |

The frequency of a history of abortion in pregnant women with preterm birth was 29.3%; of the 46 pregnant women with a history of abortion, 29 presented preterm birth, representing a frequency of 63.0%. In contrast, of the 152 pregnant women without a history of abortion, 70 presented preterm birth (46.1%); the frequency of preterm birth in hospitalized pregnant women was 2364, or 21.1%. The sociodemographic characteristics of pregnant women hospitalized with preterm birth were: age ranged from 20 to 34 years, 76.8% were cohabiting, 72.7% were independent, and 50.5% had secondary education.
