description En el presente trabajo, se describe mi experiencia como Supervisor de seguridad y salud en el trabajo y medio ambiente (SSOMA) en la empresa JUSACA PERU S.R.L, la cual se dedica a brindar servicios de mantenimiento de sistemas eléctricos y fabricación de estructuras metálicas. Al asumir este rol con el equipo del área SSOMA, se dividió las tareas para lograr el objetivo en común que era disminuir los riesgos laborales, posterior a ello dada las tareas correspondientes me encontré con una escasa realidad de seguridad en los trabajos, y la falta de documentación que respaldará las medidas de seguridad implementadas para las distintas áreas. Durante el proceso de implementación del SG-SST, enfrentamos varios desafíos, entre ellos, la resistencia de algunos empleados que estaban acostumbrados a operar de manera insegura. Fue necesario realizar esfuerzos significativos en términos de comunicación y capacitación para asegurar que todos los trabajadores comprendieran la importancia del SG-SST y se comprometieran con ello. Además de esta mejora en la seguridad laboral, la empresa ahora está en el margen del cumplimiento de las regulaciones legales relacionadas con la seguridad y salud en el trabajo. Este logro ha fortalecido su posición en el mercado y ha aumentado la confianza de sus clientes en sus operaciones

Upon assuming this role with the SSOMA area team, the tasks were divided to achieve the common objective which was to reduce occupational risks. After that, given the corresponding tasks, I found a poor reality of safety at work, and the lack of documentation that will support the security measures implemented for the different areas. During the SG-SST implementation process, we faced several challenges, including resistance from some employees who were accustomed to operating in an unsafe manner. Significant efforts in terms of communication and training were necessary to ensure that all workers understood the importance of SG-SST and were committed to it. In addition to this improvement in occupational safety, the company is now within compliance with legal regulations related to occupational health and safety.
