Para determinar la confiabilidad intra e inter-evaluador de la medición clinica bucal , se hizo un estudio piloto con 12 pacientes , resultando valores Kappa superiores a 0.995, mientras que el diagnóstico lo realizó un médico especialista maxilofacial . Para el análisis de resultados se utilizó la prueba de Chi cuadrado considerando un nivel de significancia 5 %. RESULTADOS: Existió relación entre la frecuencia de tinnitus y disfunción Temporomandibular (p=0.029) CONCLUSIONES: El tinnitus está relacionado a la disfunción temporomandibula

MATERIALS AND METHODS: This observational, relational cross-sectional study was carried out between April and May 2023, including a total of 76 adult patients from the Otolaryngology Service of the Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital. To determine the intra- and inter-rater reliability of the oral clinical measurement, a pilot study was carried out with 12 patients, resulting in Kappa values greater than 0.995, while the diagnosis was made by a maxillofacial specialist. For the analysis of results, the Chi-square test was obtained considering a significance level of 5%. RESULTS: There was a relationship between the frequency of tinnitus and temporomandibular dysfunction (p=0.029).
