Sumario:In the present academic work will be detailed the steps to consider for an efficient choice of pumping units of a pressurized irrigation. It is intended to obtain a manual so that each agricultural engineer can be guided in the choice of the irrigation pump considering as guiding parameters the efficiency of the same and the energy cost along its projected use. This work assumes a correct hydraulic design of the system to be pressurized, so the initial data to be taken into account will be the flows and pressures of the shifts where the pump (s) will work. As a first consideration we will see the importance of the homogeneity of the flows and pressures in a system that intends to use a single type of pump in its filter house. Within the parameters that will determine the pump model is the NPSH which will be a measure to consider according to the position of the water source with respect to the pump; at the same time this value is calculated with the geographical data of the area where the project was executed. Knowing the values of flow rates, pressure and NPSH of the pump to be acquired, we will analyze the performance curves of the different brands that the Peruvian and foreign markets (if the case by decision of the client) offer and that are close to what they are. which we initially have as a working range. When performing this analysis, we will take into account the efficiency and type of pump that we offer to go from there to the analysis of energy cost. Once the pump models have been obtained we will proceed to the analysis of the energy cost of the use of the pumps throughout its operation during the time that is or contemplated the agricultural project. For this analysis, the cost per kW-hour of the H2Olmos project area will be taken into account and the VAN and TIR study of the acquisition of the same will be done to determine the model that will benefit the project of the investment company, both hydraulically and economically. This report is intended as a manual that shows in a simple way the steps that should be considered when choosing the pumps that pressurized irrigation system considering the lowest cost of investment that will ensure an attractive economic return to generate more future that helps economic growth from the country.
