description El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional titulado “Mitos y leyendas de Hispanoamérica” fue elaborado para alumnos del 3er año de secundaria. Dicho trabajo tiene como objetivos el cumplimiento de las capacidades y desempeños de los estudiantes propuestos en la planificación de esta sesión, donde ellos sean capaces de reconocer y diferenciar el mito de la leyenda, ya que, la literatura ha logrado y es capaz de crear y recrear la historia de los pueblos y esto es debido a que el hombre desde tiempos remotos ha tratado de explicar su cosmovisión del mundo. El docente por su parte creó un entorno en el que los estudiantes participen continuamente en el aula para así lograr importantes resultados de aprendizaje, ya que se utilizó materiales educativos que hicieron que la sesión sea significativa y más pedagógica. La competencia que se desarrolló en la presente sesión corresponde a “Lee diversos tipos de textos escritos en su lengua materna”. Al finalizar la clase, los estudiantes con la información entregada deben deducir e interpretar todo lo referido al mito y leyenda, como, por ejemplo: su definición, características y diferencias, ya que, así se comprenderá el valor histórico y tradicional que tiene para cada cultura.

This work has as objectives the fulfillment of the capacities and performances of the students proposed in the planning of this session, where they are able to recognize and differentiate the myth from the legend, since literature has achieved and is able to create and recreate the history of the people and this is because man has tried since ancient times to explain his worldview of the world. The teacher created an environment in which students participate continuously in the classroom in order to achieve important learning results, since educational materials were used that made the session meaningful and more pedagogical.
